Training:
When it come to training, we focus on dog psychology and training in a way that is natural and easily understood by all dogs. Whether your struggling with potty training, over exitement, basic obedience or leash skills, we can help! Videos of training sessions are available upon request, as well as a complementary one-on-one training session to go over everything that was taught to your Cav!
Topics that will be covered with training include: potty training, crate training, sit, stay, down, off, come, heel, loose leash walking, go to kennel on command, wait and leave it. Other topics such as overcoming certain fears, off leash work, impulse control, and patience can also be worked on per request. For puppies produced by Cordial Cavaliers, training can begin at 9 weeks old. As our puppies are not ready to go home until after 9 weeks old, there is no charge for boarding from ages 9-10 weeks old.
*Please note that all dogs learn at a different pace and desired outcomes are based on the duration of time the dog has stayed with us, and the work owners put in at home.
Recommended Board and Train duration:
*These are just recommended training durations but training can be for any duration depending on availability.
Introduction to basic training: 2 weeks total
2 weeks will allow for a solid foundation to be established in potty training, crate training, leash skills/loose leash walking, recall, sit, wait, stay, leave-it, down, up and off.
Perfect basic training: 4 weeks total
An additional 2 weeks (or 4 weeks total) will give us enough time to reinforce and perfect all basic training skills as well as correct additional behavioral issues or complete specific training requests.
Board & Train: $100/day

Our Board and Train program is for Cavalier King Charles Spaniels but other breeds may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
