Cordial Cavaliers’ puppies are raised to be balanced, confident, easy going companions. The parents are health tested and kept at a healthy weight.
All of our puppies are kept with their mom up until the day they go home at 9-10 weeks old. This ensures that the puppies can learn all that their mom can teach them, and helps them to interact and socialize with other dogs properly later on.
When the weather permits, puppies get to go outside to a large playpen where they have plenty of room to run and explore, as well as get to play and interact with our other dogs. Our puppies are handled very often and are exposed to many different people during their time with us, including young kids.
Our puppies start potty training at a young age which makes training easier when they go home.
We start grooming practice with our puppies and expose them to the nail grinder, blowdryer, clippers, and water. They also begin crate training and practice building a positive association with the crate.
Our puppies are currently fed Viva Raw. Each of the puppies will go home with Viva Puppy Recipe and NuVet samples. We recommend that puppy families order their new puppies’ food and supplements before pickup day so that everything is ready before puppies go home! For more information on Viva Raw click here.
As our goal is healthy puppies, we strive to raise them as naturally as possible. Because of this, we have made the decision to not vaccinate any of our puppies. Instead, we give them all a holistic alternative: Nosodes. All of our puppies get DAPP Nososdes for protection against the core deseases that are Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. Nosodes are a safe alternative to vaccines eliminating the many risks that come with them. Our puppies get 2 Nosodes a week starting at 6 weeks old and continued until they go home. If you still decide to vaccinate your pup we recommend waiting until 16 weeks to do so as this is when the vaccine becomes effective, as the mothers natural antibodies have worn off. Vaccines should be given seperately (not combined) and given over the course of several weeks. After puppies have recieved their intitial vaccines in the first year, they do not require any boosters or follow-up vaccines. For more information click here.
